storyteller Susan Black presents enthusiastic performances of stories
from around the world. She has been captivating audiences for over
five years, and is currently the Storyteller-in-Residence at Robert
Clow Elementary School in Naperville, IL. Susan believe there is no
escaping the power of stories and their ability to nurture our hearts
and our community. Susans stories will make you want to move,
chant, sing, think, imagine, and dream!
Susan
says, “I tell stories because I cant sing! When I find
a story I like, when Im able to work with it until it feels
right, when Im able to tell that story to others and they
like it tooOh thats when I hit the high notes.
A friend pointed out years ago that she had the gift of story, It
took awhile, but finally Susan believed her. Now she uses her friends
example to remind her to tell people about the gifts they have,
and might not even recognize yet. She believes stories are the stuff
good hearts are made of.
